Alphagan Z 5ML eye drops is used to treat intraocular hypertension (increased fluid pressure inside the eye caused due to excess production of aqueous humour and incapacity of your eye to drain it), open angle glaucoma (characterized by progressive damage to the optic nerve that may eventually lead to vision loss). The increase in eye pressure mainly is due to an imbalance in the production and drainage of the fluid in the eyes. If left untreated, it can eventually lead to glaucoma and vision loss. It works by reducing the production of fluid in your eyes and lowers eye pressure.
